AUTOBIOLOGY

Chin-Tai Chen received the B.S. degree in Engineering Science from the National Chung-Kung University,  Taiwan in 1992, and the M.S. degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University,  Palo Alto,  California, USA, in 1996. In 1998, he received his Engineer degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University under the supervision of Prof. Robert W. MacCormack, and his Ph.D. degree in Engineering and System Science Department from National Tsing Hua University,Taiwan in 2007 under the  supervision of Prof. F. -G. Tseng and C. -C. Chieng. He was with Industrial Technology Research  Institute  (ITRI), and has been an assistant professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Kaohsiung  University of Applied Sciences (KUAS), Taiwan R.O.C since 2009. His current research focuses on the  numerical and experimental studies of novel micro fluid-optical systems employing MEMS techniques for the morphology analysis, microfabrication,and self-assembly of structures and devices. He wrote over 10 patents and published more than 40 technical papers in inkjet and microsystems technique field.
